'05 TT - what do I need to inspect for prior to taking delivery?

My dealer has advised me that my '05 TT has left the port, and is on a truck bound for my area. It is anticipated that it should be ready for me to take delivery of by the beginning to middle of next week, depending upon what day it arrives locally (central NJ).

I have been reading this forum, and others like it, ever since I placed my order in the beginning of July. We all seem to be somewhat accepting of the quirks / gremlins which plague some owners, and but not all. I would like to know what issues I should look for in an effort to have them resolved prior to delivery, as I have very little confidence that some of them will / can be rectified once the car is in my name. At the very least, I will have given up any leverage I have in getting the dealer to go to bat for me.

The 2 issues which seem to come up the most frequently are the vibration which occurs for some between 65 and 75, and the lag / lurching issues which occurs for others when stomping on the gas peddle. What process, if there is one, should I follow the verify that mine is free of these issues, as the car will be new, needs to be broken in properly, and I would be hesitant to take it out for an extremely aggressive test drive?

Also, are there any other issues I should look for that seem to be difficult for dealers to resolve? Finally, what can I do to make sure that all the recall / TSB / software upgrades that have arisen with the '05 model year have been performed / applied to my car?

Thanks in advance.

I would like to know as well.
I'll be taking delivery of a Cayenne S in December and could definitely use some input.

Get the VIN and have the dealer service adviser pull up all open tsb/work campaigns/recalls that apply to your truck and have them do them prior to delivery. That's what I just did. The truck is great...
