Brakes
just replaced the front pads on an 04 cayenne s last weekend. hawk ceramics from tire rack $120. would have taken 15 minutes a corner had i not been **** and scrubbed everything where the sun dont shine. many good review for these pad in previous and current posts.
Thanks mtesh73, Yes, Hawk seems to have good reviews. They are however 130.00 @tire rack. When did you buy yours? I.m also changing the rotors. What are good drilled/slotted rotors do you think is good?
i think 130 might be right. just bought them 2 weeks ago. had them on for about a week, no squeaks whatsoever. using stock rotors, follow the instructions on the box precisely about rotor preparation and burnishing the pads, i think this makes a huge rather than just slapping the pads on and going driving.
Really that easy to replace the pads?

Not picking on you Rada, just caught me funny as the 2 posts immediately below yours had "Brake Change Long Island" and " Another yet brake question" and my big post was 3 down starting with " BRAKE UPGRADE".
ANYWAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy - hope you get your brakes sorted out and if you have time ........... read my brake post as I sweated all the details for you (05/06 S - is the same for most brake parts). Maybe see you on a ride sometime as I am north jersey.
