Hi, I need to replace the brakes(rotors and pads) on my cs 2006. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks mtesh73, Yes, Hawk seems to have good reviews. They are however 130.00 @tire rack. When did you buy yours? I.m also changing the rotors. What are good drilled/slotted rotors do you think is good?

i think 130 might be right. just bought them 2 weeks ago. had them on for about a week, no squeaks whatsoever. using stock rotors, follow the instructions on the box precisely about rotor preparation and burnishing the pads, i think this makes a huge rather than just slapping the pads on and going driving.

Dude - what can I say. I'm not a flamer but I post on 2 boards daily and I see this all the time. Would give my left nut to help a fellow p-car drive, but you know, at least crawl a little.

Not picking on you Rada, just caught me funny as the 2 posts immediately below yours had "Brake Change Long Island" and " Another yet brake question" and my big post was 3 down starting with " BRAKE UPGRADE".

ANYWAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy - hope you get your brakes sorted out and if you have time ........... read my brake post as I sweated all the details for you (05/06 S - is the same for most brake parts). Maybe see you on a ride sometime as I am north jersey.

Nothing taken. We all know there is a search engine, but I like to hear different opinions sometimes. Sometimes however it's pure laziness. lol
