Thanks Flyguy. I have since added the TechArt Lowering Module and will be getting the spacers put on over the weekend.

With the newborn I haven't had the time to take pics of the GTS next to the M5, but I plan to do take some shots sometime soon. The M5 has been sitting under a cover for the past month....it needs to be opened up for some air!

Here are some pics of my M5 for the board....

Flyguy,

Sorry for not responding to your PM about the Eisenmann Exhaust on my M5. I haven't been on the M5Board for quite some time.

By any chance are you going down to the Concorso Italiano in Monterey next week? I'll be there along with a number of other M5 owners.

Nice GTS. I assume you bought the tip b/c the wife doesn't know how to operate manual? Do you know if the 6spd is a more engaging experience?

That's right, my wife doesn't know how to drive a traditional manual transmission and that's why I bought the Tiptronic. Another reason is because we live in San Francisco, and parallel parking on the steep hills here in a full manual is a challenge to say the least!

I've driven the 6-speed, and it's very cool. You have much better control of the car when driving agressively. It's also a very smooth 6-speed transmission with precise shifts.

I just had the TechArt Lowering Module installed in the GTS last week. It's a cool device, and it didn't diminish the ride quality, but I wish that it wouldn't lower the front of the car so much. When fully lowered, the front of the Cayenne is about 2 inches lower than the rear. I wish it was more balanced.

I'll post another thread about this when I get around to taking some new pics.

How are you finding the seats? I have a Turbo S and find the seats quite tedious in long drives. They hold well otherwise.

The seats in the GTS are okay. They are supportive, but I find them a bit narrow and a bit hard.

They don't compare to the seats in the M5, which I find to be one of the best seats ever designed.
