Question Just bought a used Cayenne, need some help!!!

I just got a 05 Cayenne 37k miles in prestine conditions. Bought the car for my wife to use at work. Looking to do a few mods like wheels, clear markers.

I've searched but cannot seem to find anything on the process for changing the cabin air filter on Cayenne's. Does anyone have the link or can they explain the process? What else should I replace on a 37k miles Cayenne? The dealer replaced the oils, brake pads seems good. Should I replace air filter too?

Also need help on cheapest place to buy door handle for driver and trim for the remote window. It's a bit scratched.

Here's a pic taken at the dealer

Welcome,

I thought there was a description here somewhere....Anyway screw under the glove compartment, undo, open (watch wires) you will see the holder for the air filter, undo, remove filter noting which way it comes out, put new one in and seal it all up.

Great Post! If you are in a clean city (Omaha, NE) what would recommended intervals be for the cabin air filter?

I'm leaning towards 20's as well. Do you have BBS CK's on your cayenne? Any pics?

yeah i did but i took them off when i went to get a dent fixed so now i got the turbo wheels on. i dont think i have pics but usually the bbs ck's are used on e46 m3's not for trucks, theyre not the best rims for the cayenne.

Go 20's...as stated above, the 22's are a little too harsh of a ride. I would say 21's are the max I would do on mine.

lovely car, well done.

porsche's are tutonic, and over engineered so if it aint broken...dont try to fix it, leave alone untill the car "tells" you to change it.

I think if I'm going to spend money on wheels, mine as well go with 22's. It looks like is the size choice for these cars at least here in Miami. Every Cayenne I see if non-porsche wheels have 22's. I think 75% of all RR's in Miami have 22's also.

This is how the car sits today:

After purchase, had a professional clay, wax, polish done. A few cosmetics changes inside to make it look brand new. Outside, got the clear markers (front), 22" wheels w/ Pirelli Scorpions and 35% tint.
