Is Porsche using the new Nano Particle Automotive Paint?

I have a MB ML-Class with that paint; and it is really resistant to nicks, chips and scratches - enough so that, without a bra, there are no/nada/zero scratches or stone nicks on the entire front after 57,000 miles.

If Porsche is using the same type of paint, a clear bra might be unnecessary.

Anyone know if Porsche is using it?

That's too bad, because that nano particle clearcoat paint used by MB is really something special. See here:

why cany they just call it "very tough paint" that will do for me.

 

Perhaps because it contains ceramic nano particles?
