Is it worth to get a water-meth injection kit on a cayenne v6?

Seems the best approach would be to sell and get an S or Turbo versus trying to make a V6 into something it wasn't designed to be.

it would be a huge waste of money, for the very little gains (if any)

I used to run the 'aquamist' kit on my HKS Twincharged Corolla GTi many moons ago. I used to mix the water and ethanol 60/40. Because I was using a Roots type supercharger and hybrid T04E/T03 turbo in series I was running alot of boost. What the aquamist kit did was to lower the intake charge temperature and thus run the higher boost without risk of detonation.

On a normally aspirated engine I would say it is a waste.

I agree. I've never seen water-meth injection on a naturally aspirated engine. Can't see how you would have detonation problems unless you seriously screw up the ignition timing. Even with turbo/supercharged engines, a larger intercooler is a far more practical solution. Or just running higher octane gas.
