I have a 04 CTT and i finally decided to get rid of the harsh 5th to 4th gear down shifting. I know i'm suppose to replace the old control valve and ECU with a newer version of the valve and ECU, but there is a problem. When the tech tried to put the new parts in he said 2 of the solenoids don't plug in!!!!!!!!!!!!

So did i get the wrong version? the part number i got is 95532503950.

Oh man, I had the same issue w/ my CTT and just sold it (told the dealer of the problem too). I had only 50k miles. I don't have anything to add to help with your situation, but it just irritates me that the 04s have this problem and Porsche won't admit to it or fix it.

 

also the new valve control DOESN'T have the 2 pressure sensors on it.....
