Magna Flow Exhaust-05 Cayenne TT

I'm in need of a little help from the experts on 6speedonline. I recently purchased a Magna Flow exhaust and had it installed by a reputable Porsche specialist here in Madison, WI. I was anxious to hear the sound of an outstanding system, only to be very disappointed. There is a ton of resonance above 2K RPM's. It sounds terrible, it seems as if the air cannot get out of the mufflers fast enough. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there anything that I can do to have the issue corrected? It was late on Friday, so the specialst is also searching for answers and we are going to talk on Monday. Any advice/help would be appreciated. I thought that this system would be relatively loud and tuned, like other Magna Flow systems that I have heard! Thanks for your help.

Nothing else has been removed, only the muffler/tips. Could the tips cause an issue like this?

its sounds way better without the secondary cats. There are some UTUBE videos off CTTs with magnaflows

I saw the vid, I'll probably get the secondary cat's removed after I figure out the problem with the exhaust.

needs to be louder, I swear my exhaust bypass mod I did to the stock muffler sounds better and louder. Damn turbo cars are always so quiet

any updates on finding your exhaust problem? I have been wanting to do the custom magnaflow exhaust as well, but i haven't heard any other clips than the two posted by seattleplayboy on youtube of the silver cayenne with magnaflow. If anyone else has this system i beg you post a sound clip. I really want more than one car to see how it sounds. please anyone i know there is more than one person with this exhaust.

Luckily (or unluckily) I think that we have found the issue. Testing has revealed that my Cayenne TT is misfiring! The coils and spark plugs need to be replaced (apparently this is common around 60K). I should have it back shortly. I'll post a soundclip...my system does not include the secondary cat by pass, only mufflers and tips. I am thinking about adding cat bypass pipes as well.

Hey Bhoov14,

Thanks in advance for posting up some clips for us. I did the same once I got the Tubi exhaust on my 997. It definitely gives many of us options of hearing them on different vehicles and camera microphones. I believe I will have the same setup as you with a turbo and the magna flows only. I'm just waiting to hear another video clip as well.

I like this exhaust, you can control on/off bypass, that way when the wife starts complaining about how loud it is just turn it off. Hmmm wonder if wives are available with that option as well??

Sorry for a tardy response guys. I finally got my car back the same day that I left for the holiday weekend (yes, it was that long...3rd party warranty company was a pain in the ****).
The problem is fixed, the exhaust sounds good. Honestly, I just want something louder. I'll post something asap. My girlfriend likes it, should have known that was a bad sign ! I will most likely sell the system, and try the Techart system that was posted here.
