This morning, I was listening to the radio, and all of a sudden, the sound went away. There was a error on the screen that said, system error, amplifier, CD, CD PLAYER. I tried everything, anyone else know how to fix it other than getting a new one? Any ideas?

 

It could be just a glitch, I have seen this many times before in other vehicles including my CS.
Try pulling out the radio fuses in the fuse box for a a good 5 or 10 minutes, reinstall and see what happens. They sometimes come back to life and it may never happen again!
Don't disconnect your battery as this can cause other problems that you don't need.

 

Thanks Road Runner! I puller the fuse, and waited 30 minutes, put it back in, and crossed my fingers. It worked!

 

where are the radio fuses, might I ask?

My 06 CDR23 stopped playing sound but no error on the read out.........its simply just flat/no static nothing but the head unit is working.

 

Is it BOSE?

I hit a hard bump and it came back on blaring......as I had left it high. Its become dettached again.

I assume I just need to play with the wires that plug in the back.
