thinking of a CTT or GTS

Thinking about a CTT or GTS. I'd go for the CTT all day long, but one thing makes me nervous. This will eventually be the car my kids drive in 7 years and the last thing i want to do is give them a high HP car. So question: Has anyone created a chip that limits boost on a CTT to 0.2 bar???

I'd go with the TTS, and enjoy it for the next 7 years, than just trade it in for a V6 when your kids start driving.

Yes, you can limit the boost. The closest thing on the market right now is offered by GIAC and would be their "valet" mode but any of the tuners could program in less boost. In seven years, there will likely be even more options.

in my opinion there is no reason why a new driver should be in a civic or something crappy a parent gives to a kid to try and prove a point. my parents [im 18] bought me a used range rover because it was a tank and they knew god forbid i got in to an accident i would be okay. well low and behold, the second day i got my license i wasnt paying attention like the stupid inexperienced i was and rear ended someone. her Grand Marquis' trunk was pushed all the way in and all that happened to my car was a flat tire and a few dented panels.

if you want a CTT, get yourself a CTT. My parents got my sister and I our cars a few months early while we still had our permits so they could drive them with us to and make sure we were comfortable enough in them to drive them alone. Maybe you should do the same. If you want to get your kids a Cayenne to drive then start looking 4 months they get their licenses and make a purchase in a month.

I'm with everyone else. Buy it for yourself and get rid of it when your kids start driving. New drivers should not be driving 500HP vehicles. I like the V6 idea

+1 on the v6 purchase. Hell you could keep the CTTS and still be able to spare some $$ for the v6, I mean 7years from now it'd be like buying a brand new honda fit.
