Question New '04 Cayenne with a few questions

Boxster owner since '99 and just picked up this '04 Cayenne w\ 60k miles in minty condition. Still learning the car as it's a day old to me. I was not able to determine yet if the headlights are HID/xenon can you? They do move up and down when you first turn them on.
Does my iphone work through the bose audio? There is a male stereo type plug in the center console storage with a six inch wire leed?
I don't know all the options, but I will mention below what I do know and if anyone knows what automatically comes with certain options please let me know. I also included pics. I'm embarassed to say I don't know how to use the high low control, does it reset after the car is turned off or can I be driving around in its highest setting? It seems like it sits real high....?
It has the following:
DVD NAV
Bose surround
Parking sensors
rear digital thermostat
pcm
wood/leather wheel
sunroof
cruise
pwr seats
heated mirrors
Any info on the above is very very much appreciated

Your car does not have PASM (air suspension) therefore the height is not adjustable. PASM equipped cars have more switches below the shifter. Non PASM cars have a nice coin tray I know because I have one of these coin tray too

I have HID and the lights do move up & down when you first turn it on. But I do not know if the non HID units move or not. What about the color of the light? Is it slightly yellowish (halogen) or bluish (HID)? Or does it take 1-2 seconds to warm up when you first turn them on that day? If so, they are HID.

The HID lights are the only ones to use auto leveling which is why they move up and down when you first turn them on. Normal halogens do not do that so you have the HID/Xenon lights.

As for the console switch, that is for controlling your all wheel drive system since the Cayenne uses a two speed transfer case for bad road conditions. I highly recommend you go to the Porsche dealer and order a manual (about $20) as there are alot of electronics and controls in the Cayenne to get used to.

I don't think this is OEM, do you have any pics to show this?

Very nice vehicle, congratulations on your purchase!

If your car has PASM, it should have a height and firmness control next to the 4x4/diff controls.

As someone else mentioned, it looks like you don't have the air suspension. I think PDCC cars also have silver controls vs. black for non-PDCC.

I don't have PASM, should I look at it as one less thing to not go wrong or is it a feature I would have enjoyed having?
