My CTT in the snow
My CTT in the snow
I live in OK and if you've watched the news at all lately, you've probably seen that we got slammed with some nasty stuff. Where I live, we got a base of about 1.5" of sleet followed by about 6-7' of snow. My CTT just has the standard 19" Michelins. It did great today in the snow. No problems up and down my fairly steep driveway, on the road, out to my parents place and their long hilly driveway. I don't know if it ever even slipped a tread. I can't say enough about how well it did. Better than my old 1988 Landcruiser in fact and the old 'Cruiser has always done well.
Exactly! I was just telling my wife that the other day as we were driving home in the early sleet. I wasn't worried about the roads or my driving (not that I'm some great driver but I drive carefully and within my limits) but I was worried about other drivers and it only takes one idiot to run into us.
C'mon, no pics?!?
The Cayenne is great in the snow. I had the same concerns as you driving in it - no worries about my driving, but there were idiots everywhere driving in 6+" of snow like it was dry pavement.
