When starting sometimes I have to turn my key back and forward a 2nd time
to get it to crank. Is this the starter going? What's this going to run me? Is there a DIY for the mechanically inclined? '04 CS 63k miles

Mine's being doing something similar since I've owned it f or a little over a year. It just seems like if I take a brief pause after going to the "on" position and then to the "start", it works every time. If I go in and try to turn it on all at one time it doesn't always work.
