should i tell him to have his dealership change all that stuff under his CPO? i heard the old CPO isn't as great and would probably wouldn't do that.

he said the plugs were changed at 40k but ignition coils weren't... hm?

If he wouldn't change it could cost you close to 2500 - 3000 grand, my coils went out around 50k miles after changing the plugs at 40K, after my independant mech realized they are nothing to change/cost he now automatically changes with plugs regardless? Neog 5 k less and know it will cost you soon.

maintenance is def expensive! he's giving me a pretty good deal 30,9 for black CTT with 63k miles. I'm not sure if he'd go 5k lower but i'll see what we can do. thanks for to help.

He may have a little room left, good luck, My 04 has 79000 miles and runs better now than when I bought with 28k miles. Tampa is opposite side of the state, but close 3hr drive. Those are really the only major issues I had so far (knock wood).

The thing is i kept mentioning these "known problems to him" and he replies with well my car is CPO'd and always maintained at the dealership so if they didn't change it then it probably wouldn't happen.

QUOTE:
"
Dan,

I just spoke with Reeves Motorsports where we purchased the car. Dan is the individual I spoke with and he informed me that they encountered this issue on only about 10% of 2004-2005 Cayenne's. They don't fix the part until it fails...it was not a recalled that they will correct before failure. "

hmmm I would have to believe it's a lot more than 10%??? might be a new thread for a pole??? yes they won't fix until it goes but when it goes it could leave you stranded.... read other threads on here regarding these items and it seems pretty common? He is a salesman

i told him again and heres a response
"I understand your concern! What are the issues do you want looked at. I will look into them, however, it will change the price of the car. I'm not going to drop several thousand dollars to fix problems that don't exist in this car without recouping some of the expenses. This car is very well priced as you know looking at other Turbo's out there. "

Well it's your choice. You know may happen and could cost you, I'd probably keep looking. Everytime I felt itchy to move on something another one nicer came along? Good luck
