Anyone else experience the 'can't find key message' while driving along with the key in your pocket? Guess I'll try a battery swap (in the key) as they're a few years old now.

 

pls keep me posted on this. Mine says it as well but I have a new remote.

 

Mine does that once a while, and each time I've simply touch the key in my pocket it goes back to normal, nothing to worry as such

 

just back from the dealer and they said hmmm but didn't have an answer. I too find that putting my hand in the key pocket turns message off right away. I may do a battery change just for kicks - this kinda stuff just naws at me.

Neil, you may want to put a fresh battery in your new remote ... oftentimes batteries sit around a bit.
