Need Help: Purchasing 2009 Cayenne

Hey guys,

I just wanted to see if you guys can give me a helping hand. I am looking into purchasing a 2009 Cayenne for winter use. I have found a few that i want but had some questions.

Does anyone know when a complete redesign is due for these cars? I know they have been around for a while and its almost time for a redesign. I dont want to purchase this and then next year a completely new Cayenne gets introduced.

Second question is I am looking at a 2009 with Navi. Its it has around 14k miles and is certified. The dealership wants 48k for it. Do you think that is reasonable?

Thanks again!

I think the next big change is 2011.

What kind of cayenne are you looking for?

That price for an S is probably pretty average from a dealer, depends on the options.

Just looking for your base model Cayenne. 48k is asking price... But I will definately look to negotiate that down to possibly 44k.

way too expensive. look on ebay, 2009 cayenne v6 can be had for $40k aprox. Car is already 1yr old, you have to take a 20% depreciation from original sticker.

2008 was a major upgrade in the NAV--so yours made that. And it appears you may be buying CPO with SIX YEARS or 100,00 miles of WARRANTY!

That is the way to go, IMHO.

However, unless this one is heavily optioned, I'd offer low with a goal of getting that price down.

If it's a base V-6, offer $36K--which is about what I think the dealer has in it.

It seems $38 might take it.

These re-sells seem to be asking $10k too much but most of them will drop the price $5k to make the deal happen.
