Chassis warning system! Please help!!!!

I'm in the middle of a long road trip through California, and I valet parked my '09 GTS last night. This morning when the valet brought the car out, I noticed it was on the HIGH chassis setting. I turned the car on, and the Chassis Warning System light came on.

The car will not lower to any other height setting, and the warning sound keeps chiming. I have another 900 miles to drive and I don't want to drive at this setting. Is there any advice one of you can give me? It's Sunday, so all dealerships are closed.

Oh, one more thing....I have a TechArt lowering module installed.

Thanks!

Don't think I have an answer for you. But if you are near LA and need any help physically just let me know.

canberk will become famous soon enough
so, don't quote me for this but i've seen this happening before.

(this only applies to cars with a lowering module installed (to be more specific, i've only seen this happening with a techart module))

if the car is jacked when the engine is running and the air suspension module's auto leveling function is not turned off, it throws a chassis system failure alarm and kind of messes up the communication between techart module and your car's whatever module that is involved.

i can suggest you to "restart" your car's computer by unplugging the battery and plugging it back up, but i am not familiar with how techart module works so it can even lead to worse results, but i don't think it'd be anything that'll make your car immobile.. maybe worth giving a shot.

oh by the way, about the reason of the car being jacked when the engine is on, no clue...

Just one more reason to never ever let a valet touch my cars.

First, thank you for your suggestions and offers for help! It is sincerely appreciated and another reason why this board is so great!

After a couple of hours of trial and error, turning on and off the car, locking and unlocking the doors, and talking to Porsche's Roadside Assistance, I decided to unplug the TechArt lowering module. I did this while the car was off. I replugged it back in and turned on the car....low and behold the car immediately lowered back to the standard ride height! Essentially everything reverted back to normal by performing this unplug/replug procedure!

Needless to say, I was thrilled and so relieved!

The car and suspension operated completely like normal over the past two days and 1,000 miles!

I'm going to take the car to the dealer to have it checked out, but I still don't know what the valet guy did to cause this problem.

Thanks again guys!
