I prefer 18's but I don't see any cars listed for you so I can't advise. On the CT and lower one can use 18's. However, if you have a CT with the factory Turbo Boost Kit or a CTS, you can only go down to 19's.

What do you have?

I seem to see more winter setups with 18's. There are usually some good deals on OEM 18's and 19's in the Sale section. I have 18's and they worked great in all the snow we had on the east coast this winter.

GTS uses the same brakes as the Turbo. I don't know why you couldn't use 18's. I know of good 18" snow & ice tires but I do not know if anyone makes a really good 19 snow & ice. While I use 255/55-18, long time Alaskans are encouraging me to go with 235/66-18's. Certainly when the roads are clear the wider tire helps get the Turbo power to the road but when the raods are choppy or on deep fresh snow, the narrower tire gets down more on the road. There is a trade off. I don't use studs but may get studded tires next time. This winter has been so variable that we've had a lot of ice as temps range from 11 to 48 F!

Not sure what the winter setup is going on - but 19 inch is the smallest diameter you can put on a 2009 Cayenne Turbo S

I have 21" SportPlus wheels on mine with the Pirelli Scorpions from Damon@TireRack. 21's are fine on the snow with the proper tire, but I can't argue with 19's either.

Yes, but a CT or GTS both use the same brake and 18's will fit.

On the CTS and on those rare CT with the factory Turbo Boost Kit the brakes are larger and nothing smaller than a 19 will fit.

This winter I ran the new Blizzak DM-V1 (255-55-18) on my '09 CS and it turned my Pepper into a gawd dayum snow leopard!! The stock Conti 4x4's were absolutely WORTHLESS in even 2" of snow. I couldn't get up my driveway in 4-low and locked. With the Blizzak's it really was like the hand-of-god was moving my truck. They cost me $750 on the truck; worth every single penny.

You give up quite a bit of cornering ability since the deep and soft tread makes turns feel "squishy". However, once the white stuff is failing and you're driving through 2-FEET of snow you'll know it's worth it.
