Does Anyone Shut Off PSM?
On icy roads I often find PSM intrusive.
Does anyone drive with PSM off?
What is your experience?
Is there anyway to cahnge PSM settings so that PSM is not so abrupt?

I turn it off when driving my daughter to school (1st grade) and we hoot and holler all along the way. It's always on when I drive with my wife and my daughter and I smile to each other knowing there's a wolf under the sheeps clothing. Occassionally let my high schooler drive & turn it off for him which generally results in everyone smiling ear to ear when we finally park.
The first thing I used to do when I got in my C4 was shut it off. It was too intrusive when driving in city traffic, especially when trying to make quick lefts through traffic. It would often cut the fuel which isn't a good thing when trying to squeeze through a tight spot!
In my Turbo I rarely shut it off. First off, it's far less intrusive than it was in my C4. It rarely kicks in unless the road is slippery. Secondly, the roads up here in the mountains have sand and gravel on them throughout the winter and you can slide very easily without intending to if you hit an unexpected patch.
