Edmunds reviewed the 11' Cayenne

Still not sure, I like the weight loss but something about it just doesn't jive, it looks kinda awkward, the rear looks like a straight rip of the Q5. I think current Cayenne looks so much better. That interior looks cramped, and I know someone else on here said the rear seats were bad when they checked it out but it looks like the seats can adjust.

When I first saw pics, I loved it. Then I grew to think it looks a little strange. Now, the more I look at it, the better it looks again. I just hope they revise those front lights eventually. The interior seals the deal, though. The Panamera-like interior is pretty stunning if they can pull it off like they did on the Panamera.

The first thing I'd do is debadge the "P O R S C H E" from the truck. That looks way too busy back there.

Completely agree that it looks too busy, but I think I'd opt to take the Cayenne XX off the back as I'm partial to that classic PORSCHE lettering and font. JMHO.

I agree, but I think that would be second for me...after I manage to somehow get rid of the red reflectors on lower diffuser. Those are so ugly, seems like every car has them now too

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Techart is able to do with this new Cayenne. Hope they put out their preliminary designs soon! They have some serious work cut out for them in the rear.

It starting to grow on me a lot. My only problem is that they didn't do anything with the engine for the turbo model. I figured they would have revapped it a little with a few more HP's and at least got the torque to hit at a lower RPM like BMW did with all their new turbo engines. Seems as if they missed the boat on that big time. Look at the X5M 500 torque at 1500 RPM's. My only wish is that porsche found a way to redone these turbos and engine to produces better numbers or at least at lower RPM's. 516 torque at 2,250 in todays world is pretty high up there. Can you say turbo lag.... Again, this is just my opinion. I will probably still buy one, but feel that they dropped the ball there.

Did I miss a major announcement? When did Nissan license the Venza platform to Porsche? This is a big score for them...

I even liked the way porsche was able to keep the front wheel drive looking angled center console just like the Venza. I think the familiarity will help soccer moms comfort levels..
