Will 18" stock Porsche Wheels fit on a 2004 Cayenne Turbo?

I have a 2004 Cayenne Turbo with 22" aftermarket wheels. Since I live in Michigan, I need a suitable winter setup. There is a nice set of Cayenne stock 18" wheels and 255/55 tires that came off a 2006 Cayenne S. Does anyone know if these will fit on a Turbo? I thought I had heard that the brakes are larger and that the wheels need to be larger.

Thanks.

I have both Cayenne Turbo and Turbo II wheels in 18" and they fit fine over the brakes of an '05 CTT.

does anyone know when the brake caliper size increases such that 18's will not fit? I have been told by a dealer that even the 2008 Turbo would allow 18's, however the 08 turbo S would not as it's brakes bumped up in size from the standard 08 turbo.

How about older turbo S models? 18's ok up until a certain year?

I believe all Turbo S models (Gen 1 2005/2006 and Gen 2 2008-2010) will not be able to use 18s.

thanks, makes my search simpler. -locking rear diff and/or pdcc

my search is narrowing quickly now that I want to find a cayenne with at least PDCC for 08+ or "offroad tech" package both for the feature to disconnect the sway bars in low range off road.

Ideally I'd like to find one with the locking rear diff too.

From our previous similar vehicle, I have these wheels already waiting, 18" 5/130 reps with the bfg tires:

Also be aware that there was a Cayenne Turbo Powerkit option that was not a Turbo S, this also came with the larger brakes. Or in my case, I added them, and now use 19" for winter. I also think that 2009 base Turbos had the larger 380mm brakes as well.

What size are those TAs on your Touareg? I run 265/60-18 Firestones and Blizzaks on my Touareg (and planned to on my 04 Cayenne Turbo arriving soon), but the smallest 18" T/A offered is 265/65-18 according to TireRack and I don't see how those would fit...

sorry, never got the posting alert.

mine were what you saw on Tire Rack, 265/65x18 and they work fine on the v8 or v10 which has larger front brakes. Incidentally, this is the same tire and size used on the race prepped Cayenne Transiberia model.
