I wonder how many RUF plans to put out, considering the $300k pricepoint. That's the best looking Cayenne i've seen on the net.

And it's very very fast. I drove with that car on the Ruf Rallye in Germany last fall. I assume this to be the same car as it's the same color.

I personally like this front end better than the new 2011 front end.

... not so fast!
Actually, the FIRST RUF Dakara is a "conversion" and it's based on the 955, not the 957. It wasn't marketed much by RUF GmbH but more so by RUF South Korea, USA, and Japan.

http://www.ruf-web.co.jp/conv/dakara/

To be a "true" RUF vehicle and not a conversion, it must not have a Porsche Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) - it must have a RUF VIN (like the Rt12, CTR3 etc). What's the VIN on the 957-based Dakara?

This first two pictures below are of 955-based Cayenne Turbos with the RUF Dakara front end. This is the only piece of body work that is not stock. All other body work is bone-stock Porsche. This 955 Dakara front end is very rare.

The other pictures are of my 2004 Porsche RUF Dakara 550 conversion.

I agree with others on this thread - wash your car!
