Hello All,
New to the Porsche world. Bought my wife a 2004 Cayenne S. It has 52,000 miles on it and the "Service Now" light is on. Does this mean it is time for an oil change? It isn't close to the 60,000 miles service yet. Thank you.

 

Did the light just come on or was it on when you bought it? Others will correct me if I'm wrong but it's just a counter from the last time its been serviced so maybe the previous owner changed it early?

 

Is there an easy way to reset the light

 

Do a search on the Renntech site. On the early Cayennes I think there is a way to hold a few buttons down at the same time and reset that warning. Otherwise the dealer has to do it. I just ignore mine.

 

or get a durametric diagnostic tool, i'm planning to get one, but the service light hasn't come up yet
