My wifes '04 CS glove box won't open. I searched and found out how to open it. Just curious as to a part number to use at the dealer.

First of all my friend don't buy your parts from the dealer.

Use a board sponsor or PM me for my Porsche parts guys contact info. He ships all over and is usually about 1/2 the price of the dealer.

What part is broke?

You have a lock housing(10), catch(11), lock cylinder (12) and your trim plate (13) on the outside. I'll get a pic for you so you can visualize what I'm talking about.

 

If I had to take a guess I'd say number 11. I got my information from this thread. They describe it as a latch. I'm going to assume that latch and catch are the same.
