- I think there is a chance the insulated windshield might impact radar detector/ez pass; however, I rarely use easy pass (I'll stick my arm out the window if needed ) and I'll probably get a remote detector Installed

- you can get the heated windshield w/o insulated glass. That may not be as much of an interference issue. I'm hoping it will work as well as I've seen it work on the range rover and help prevent ice build up
Yes, you're quite right in that you give up the heat and controls for the paddles, that's why I can't decide. My dealer is supposed to have a 2011 Cayenne on the lot within the next 2 weeks so it should help to actually drive one. If the new 8 speed is as good as they say, then maybe the buttons will suffice instead of the paddles. The remote detector is a good thought, with this beast you don't want to go unprotected!

yes there is a 30k plus start diff. But once you add what you want the Turbo becomes more affd. Try it yourself on website. You can bet the Turbo will dep. just as the S will too. But Having the Turbo will be worth extra 15k IMHO

I love the looks of the sport wheel for sure. But I also really like the heated steering in my x5. It's comfort for me... I must be getting old!
