Hey Jen K any additional color on your turbo test drive? Any pix of the rs rims. My dealer got a turbo in, but I'm stuck in LA getting eye surgery on Monday so i won't be able to test drive it for a couple weeks grrrrrrr!

 

just jet black. Hey, good luck on your eye surgery! Hope you can read this. No pics on the 20's, my iphone battery had one bar left and I left the charger in the other car! Anyway, I may not get the CTT this year. The allocation is gone and I am still stinging from my trade in value. In fact, I am probably going to keep the 997 longer and get a fun, dog transportable, DD instead of the Lexus I made a HUGE mistake in buying. I'll let you know what I order soon....

Your dealer can get you a build. That is what our dealer is doing. He offered us today the choice of four Jet Black cars that are being built in the next 45 days but none of them had went with the Prem. Package. So we opt. To just change our color and wait on the build with Oct delve.

The change made was Jet Black instead of Auburn Met and Natural Esspro and Cognac Int. Wife isn't sure of Int Color I talked her into it. Hope I made the right choice.

Funny thing happened today she got to drive the Turbo Cayenne. Dealer had her floor it doing about 20 mph. She's never driven a car that powerful I think she may have soiled her pants. That baby has some awesome power.

Only bad thing is dealer has convinced her she needs to go to Porsche driving school. Not a bad thing but there goes another 3 k.

BTW saw a true sample of Ice Blue today. Glad I waited. Really looking forward to my car when it does arrive.

 

He's working on an allocation and it's a large dealer. I am thinking of waiting for a year. I found out that my lovely Lexus DD is way upside down as well or just their low ball trade offer and I am thinking of keeping the 997, paying the difference in the Lexus and just getting a BMW for the interim. I'll explain why later. BTW, I really like the jet black, but the ice blue may be worth waiting for! Maybe your wife and I can attend the driving school together! I have already attended the M school, so I want to try the PDS!

 

I think she is seriously considering the Womens School This Sept. I guess it will be two days of golf for me at the RTJ Golf Trail

Unless they will let me come watch I know they will in Reg Class but men maybe a no no at Womens Event. Either way I win.

But she was really surprised by the power. Of the Turbo Cayenne. She knew the Targa had power but not like a big SUV taking off like a rocket

I told her Dont ever stomp on the gas on the Turbo S when it comes in It will be way more of a rocket ship.

 

In an ideal world, I would not have been impatient and gotten exactly that interior color. I was told it's not available until September build i.e. early November delivery!

 

That is what we were told. And since we were having to wait for a OCT Build so it worked out perfect.

I really like the color combo Wife is iffy on it. I truly believe she will love it when it comes in.

 

the ice blue is certainly worth waiting for....

I'll checkout availability for PDS in September for me and we'll have a blast!
