We will have to see how they work. If nothing else it will leave ~$700 in my pocket for other mods.


Would be fun to dyno the same car with all 3 set ups. (and not a biased one by a manufacturer)

 

i went to a local muffler shop and had a set of pipes made for about 200$.

gives a nice rumble at idle, but is hella raspy under acceleration. not quite the sound i was going for

 

Wonder what causes the raspy-ness in your set up? They made straight through pipes right? (many turbo cars sound more raspy when the exhaust is opened up, you can hear the turbos better)

 

i have a CS...non turbo.

Although there may be a little rattle on hard acceleration, it should be mild at best on a V8. My first question would be, "did they install hangers on the new straight pipes?". If not, then this will help.

When I had my Cargraphics bypass pipes on, they did not rattle.

Fabspeed bypass pipe on my V6 rattled so bad people would ask if my exhaust was broken.

My gutted 955 CTT cats are ready. I'll post pics after install. This should sound and run epic....since I have a stage 2 CTTS tune, coding-out cats....

 

Instant turbo spool, resulting in zero to slingshot and no lag. The sound is tame until WOT....then, it's all good.

 

anyone have any?
