Problem identifying a hose..Help

Would anyone have any idea what this plastic/hose connects to or where its supposed to go. Its on the right side of the vehicle and the edge is broken so I have no idea what it connects to or what it is for.

Thanks.

A mechanic I actually asked said that it has to do with the crank case? So does it go to the airbox for sure because i think that would make more sense as well.

Thanks.
