Hi everyone.
A newbie here with some serious questions.
I'm hopeful to move into the Porsche community next spring with the purchase of a Cayenne.
Ultimately I was hoping to get my wife a new Tiguan and get myself a 911 of some type, but that is probably a bit too optimistic right now.
I've contemplated the Cayenne for a few years because it is a very realistic compromise between sportscar and SAV.
Again with the Cayenne's, a GTS might be a bit optimistic, but I am going to aim for that first, but I always go into action with a backup plan and therefore will consider an "S" as my backup plan. As a former boy scout, the mantra "be prepared" has never left me.
Not too much to ask about the GTS, but has anyone experienced any major prob's with this beast. This one truly rocks. Any good insight into ECU flashes, cold air, exhaust and lowering?
Is the GTS strictly air and can that be lowered through the programming like the Touareg?
Regarding the "S" model, what year(s) should I stay away from, if any. Are any years better? Again, ECU flashes, cold air, exhaust and lowering?
I'm not new to aftermarket, just Porsche aftermarket.
Also, and not that it really matters I suppose, but I'm in BC, Canada. Any ideas on tuners in the area?
