Update... too bad you can't use curse words on the forum. Since my warranty company went bankrupt without telling me 3 months ago (with 29 months of coverage still left!) and the coolant pipes stranded me on Hwy 88 I was planning to sell the Cayenne and buy a 2011 Cayenne V6.

Then, this morning after spending a couple grand on the pipe repair two days ago (since there was no warranty) I leave with my daughter for breakfast and see a nice big puddle of transmission fluid on my garage floor. Jacked it up and looked for where it was coming from and low an behold it was from the bell housing. Looks like the main transmission seal failed. I have had it with the issues on Cayenne's, I would only own one under warranty and even with this one I did not even get 2 days to sell it!!!

I am soo pissed off about this poor quality I traded it in on a Touareg V6 TDI... to heck with Porsche.

Sorry, had to vent!

.... at least my Boxster has the L&N IMS bearing retrofit done... but I still need to replace the leaking coolant tank! LOL When does it ever end?!
