Caution if anyone is looking this 2009 Cayenne Turbo S VIN# WP1AC29P59LA81594
***WARNING LONG THREAD***
I've been talking/negotiating with this seller for a little over 2 months and he finally decides he wants to sale his Cayenne to me at my last offer price (which I rather not get into
) so I asked to have the car PPI. He okays it and in the meantime I ask for a copy of the invoice showing the modifications that he states he got with the car from factory (never was able to provide it since we've been talking). Throughout the entire deal he states he bought the car new from Park Place and that all the mods were installed on the car from the 'factory' and everything is covered under warranty. He goes on to say the MSRP was in the $140K range and the mods added another $40K to the car inwhich he paid directly to Park Place when purchased new. And the final kicker is that he has an extended warranty for 7 years/100KMI...
So after talking to PP they have not idea what he is talking about and basically stated they never installed anything aftermarket on his car other than a Radar system and NO extended warranty was purchased them... I email the guy back and tell him that the deal is off at my last offer price and he basically trys to tell me that it doesn't matter because he has another buyer already at a higher price AGAIN (yes this has happened once already) and that he never told me Park Place installed any of the mods rather it was order like that from factory and came directly from Porsche with Techart equipment
Sorry about the long post but the seller has no clue what he is talking about and to be honest sounds like a college student that is trying to sale a car his father gave to him or something.
Here's his ebay ad:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190443440542&viewitem= &sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
and he has it listed on CL and Autotrader: WP1AC29P59LA81594
What he says are added modifications that are not shown on the window sticker:

And what his reply was after telling him the deal was off and PP confirms they never installed any aftermarket products:
Thanks for allowing to vent some

What he says are added modifications that are not shown on the window sticker:
wide body with front, side, and rear ground effects, a more contoured hood, lower suspension, all white accessories such as the mirrors, door handles, grille, body mouldings etc. It has the oversized racing brakes, electronic sport mode with air bag suspension Smart system, carbon fiber motor and interior accents, sport contoured racing seats, sport exhaust and tips, and a different ECM software version than other 2009 cayenne turbos.

And what his reply was after telling him the deal was off and PP confirms they never installed any aftermarket products:
It came from Germany as it is, where Techart is home based anyways. As I said, it came as factory with a full racing setup.
To be honest I don't think the ad is fake I just think the seller doesn't have a clue when it comes to the car or he was given the car by his parents and that explains the lack if knowledge on the car.
The window sticker provided showed pp as the selling dealer and the service rep knew of him and the car. Service rep also said he never did any install there and that it was done elsewhere near his school....

So the guy relished the ad:

Funny thing is that another person also listed the same car but for +$10k more:

Sorry it didn't work out but it does look like a nice car. Not sure what's the agreed upon price but if the PPI said the car was "clean" and the price is right; it might be a good deal for someone.
Maybe I missed it, but what set of rims comes with the car? I'm partial to white Cayennes

Would be a good idea if seller was actually willing/able to do a PPI... Seller at that time stated both. New seller stated what other wheels HAHA!!! Long story, but figured out neither listers actually own the car but just trying to sale it for the real owner that is too busy to sale it himself. Would have a lot more luck selling it if he just actually talked to potential buyers. GL to whomever buys it.
