Anyone else get a loud hum that sounds like a power steering pump going bad from their CTT. When i open the hood it sounds like its coming from under the shroud on the driver side. All fluids are topped off and the dealer says its normal but i never noticed it before.

If you put the car in drive and hold the break down it gets louder and the pitch changes when you turn the steering wheel side to side. I can also hear it when the car is slowing down.

 

I have a similar situation, but it is not only a hum. It's a dragging, shaking feeling when I turn the steering wheel on full stop with brakes applied. Indy looked into it and everything relating to the power steering system checked out fine. But once the vehicle gets moving, the power steering is smooth, even at 1 mph.
