I have an 08 CS Certified Pre-Owned.

I read that Cayennes have a sunvisor in the middle tucked behind the rearview mirror. Is this true? If so, does anyone have a photo? I don't think I have that visor.

 

Look behind and above the rear view mirror, it's a small visor that flips down and fills that gap between the mirror and the roof.

I had one on my old 06 Titanium but noticed that on our 2010 it doesn't have it, but there is obviously a clip there for it...

 

I have the clip too. Maybe they stopped putting them in.

 

I also have and 08 S and theres a clip for it but I definitely don't have one in there.

 

I believe that little visor is to eliminate the flare from the courtesy/ map lights. It doesnt really fill that hole very well to block the sunlight.

 

I have one on my 06 but 2 weeks ago I had a loaner from the dealership and it did not have one even though the clip was there. Maybe call the parts department and order one and see if it will clip on. return it if it doesn't

Not there on my 08 GTS either. Would be nice if it were there tho. Cost cutting? Kinda odd.

 

I looked for it on my brand new 09 gts when I first got it and was not there. I just thought they made it a 500 dollars option

 

That sunvisor is something I use everyday, I guess according to my height it works perfectly as a sunblocker...........

 

My 04S has it. I just leave it down...and yeah, it could go down more. Then again, I run my seat all the way to floor and the double-visors; especially when I swing the first to the side, could go down more too ! Seems the sun always peeks just below it... Damn it !
