Enabling AV button or monitor for video input on PCM2

Besides sending the PCM out, since now porsche has the rear camera, is there a way to send a video signal into the PCM2 and display it. I know there is a company out there that will modify your unit by hardwiring something in, but that will void the warranty.

Has anyone looked at the menu items on the 05 and newer with the PST2 to see if you can enable the AV button. I think in europe they can watch video using the DVD or something like that if the car isn't in gear.

yeah, I'd love to know too. I think the company your talking about is NAV-TV, right?

a buddy of mine found out how to do it but has to do the same thing that NAV-TV would do --opening it and modifying.

the other concern that should be considered is that audio is only available through a fm-mod or transmitter --yuck.

I'm waiting till a company offers the harness that allows audio to come through a aux input via your cd changer input.

anybody know anything otherwise?

I actually don't think NaV-TV opens the unit, they just reprogram it and tell you if the dealer resets the PCM or the most bus all their settings are lost. They do want you to ship it to them to do the programming, which I think sucks. I was hoping someone might be able to do it with a PST2(like the dealer).

Right. That would be awesome if a dealer here in the states was able to do that.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
