Got my ECU back with UPsolute Chip last night for the CTT!!!
This whole project has taken too long.
Finally found some time to get my car to the dealer to get the "coil warranty" taken care of so that I could head back to the dyno. They had my car all day only to tell me that for some reason my CTT has no power to the OBDII port. So they can't complete the warranty issue.
Had this issue once before and it was just a fuse. Can't find a blown fuse this time. Dealer is trying to blame the tune.
Then of course they said I can pay a tech to figure it out! Since the last tie it was a fuse I figured I would just pick it up and start over. Not overly impressed with the local dealer at this point. Partly because They "had to schedule me in at 8:30am" only to not work on it until 3:00 in the afternoon
Anyway! Im back on this.

This can happen, it was quite common for a while. I think it was Revo tunes that used to mess up the OBD port. Pretty rare now though.
Cole Which local porsche dealership?
The ones around here are sub par to the dealerships in TX.
I want a superb Porsche dealership and a service garage that looks like the sales floor like at park place TX Dallas.

It was Stevinson on Broadway.
Maybe I'm being too picky but I was a little dissapointed. Got the "We can get you in at 8:30" scheduling. But then at 1:30-2:00 I get a call that they can't connect to my car. Which means they had not even looked at it for 5-6 hours.
I understand wanting the car around so that when a tech is free they can work on it. I would have just liked that basic diagnosis earlier so I did not have to waste a whole day of shuffling cars around.
Last time I had this issue it was a fuse. I told them this on the phone and the response I got was "You can pay a tech to look at them!" The only thing I could think of was getting a $150 bill for a tech to spend 6 min looking at my fuses.
Then I got the accusations of the ECU flash being the problem. After that they did not seem very willing to work with me at all. The service wrighter told me he pulled the "ECU fuse" and did not see anything wrong with it. (Why would there be? I drove the car in there so the ECU must have had power
)
I can't imagine mine is the only Porshe in history to not have power to the OBDII plug. They are supposed to be the experts. Why not spend 15 min trying to solve the problem before calling me. Guess I'm just used to good independant shops like 3Zero3 Motorsports. (who did run into the same OBDII problem and fixed it with no questions asked on another service)
They did hook me up with a $10 rental car for the day.
Maybe the 2011 Impala is their way of making sure your are happy to have your Porsche back.
Try typing "Impala" into your Android phone and see what it tries to replace it with
Pretty accurate. Why not put customers in your used fleet?
I would bet you could sell more cars
Ironically, I will be going over to Stevinson tonight for the PCA social event.

Not intended to hijack but what is the eat dealership in CO for top customer service, nicest service area, nicest sales area, just best all around. Never feel CO dealerships match up to others out of state, which is why I buy elsewhere.....
i.e. Arizona, Florida, Texas
Even there Cadillac and other equivalents are superior to the appearance and fall over you customer service as those in CO. Ferrari of Denver is good, I'll say that, bit from my experience that's about all and I'm talking, land rover, cadillac, Lexus, Porsche, mercedes from my lineup...
Please advice.
I'll make a separate CO thread about this if there aren't quick responses.
I just figure if I walk into any dealership you better be wanting my sale.
Okay sorry for the brief hijack

Sorry. This has been a slow process.
Trying to figure out why they Cayenne is "fighting the dyno" has been a chore.
Ate through a set of tires. So had to take a day to get new tires, that led to a new alighnment so I would not eat the new tires. The alignment specs might have actually been contributing to the problem. FIXED!
Now, I still have a rough idle but no check engine light. FWIW, the dealer could not "scan my car" to try to warranty the coils, However the independent 3Zero3 scanned it fine when doing the alighnment.
So now I need to fix the rough idle issue. I was originally hoping to run the dyno exactly as it sat before the chip. Which looks like it simply wont be the case.
Ordering new coils, plugs today. Waiting on an email response from APR about their R1 diverter valves. These look like the best choice for a CTT but they don't list them specifically for the application.
Figure between the coils/plugs and maybe a worn BPV that may be the lat of the "fight" in the dyno issue.
On the flip side, the CTT is still a blast to drive, especially when I get out of my 928S4. SOOOOOOO much faster.

Sorry for the delay guys. Sometimes I kinda forget about my CTT. It was time to dust it off and figure out the issues since the dealer had been no help.
I ordered some APR R1 Diverter valves for the car. They did not list them on their site and had to do some "research" to make sure they would work properly with this set up.
Finally got them Friday and rushed to put them in Saturday. I wanted these over the "piston style" diverter valves simply to reduce maintenance in the future. These are an upgraded diaphram style similar to the factory units. On the CTT they are located in a very inconvient place to change so you don't want to go in every 10K miles to relube them like some piston style vlaves require.
CTT now accelerates MUCH smoother and MUCH harder than it did before. I think this is the issue that was holding me back from getting a good solid dyno run on the Upsolute chip. Think the chip just exposed the weakness of my old stock BPVs. Just to be on the safe side I also have new coils on the way. They should be here tomorrow. I will get them on and hit the dyno ASAP.
I can say already that with good working BPVs the CTT with the Upsolute chip is very fun to drive now.
Here are some pics of the APR R1 BPVs
APR R1 BPV sitting next to the factory valve. Obvioulsy with 2 turbos you need to buy two of these. Ask for the "blue" springs to be installed.

The work to change these is. Bait of a *****! Especially compared to cars like my Audi S4 and Porsche 951 where the BPVs are right on top of the motor and easy to reach!
LOL... I hated swapping out the Driver's side DV. It is in such a finger-pinching location!
You summed it up perfectly.
