I have yet to hear anything from my dealer regarding this, and if it is the case I am gonna be peaved. I am upgrading from a lot allocation 2011 CTT to a custom order 2012.

I am hoping this is not the case. I have not seen anything about this. Is it a hardware or software issue?

camera

as far as i know it's hardware issue, missing a chip. estimate delivery for the chip is expected to be in October. the chip can be installed at any dealer in the US. there is rumor that PCNA will somehow compensate for those affected but no one knows that that will be.

New user here.. Just ordered my 2012 Cayenne S (Canada), for delivery early Sept, costs up here are seem to be more than US $$'s it came to just under $100K. Premium Plus package. Any one have any issues with their 2012's. Anything new from the 2011's.

I think there are some different exterior options. Rumor of a powerkit, similar to the Panamera. However, at around 18k much more expensive with less punch than the EVOMsit ECU module.

Not much else...

It's not a rumor anymore, right? The power kit is already available in Canada, whereas it's not available in the US. Maybe they'll offer it next year in the US.

Non-smoker is standard for 12'

More options in terms of interior,

Oil consumption will be a concern for some as 958 are known to consume lots od oil

Rear camera will not work until October or after

And it is EXTREMELY overpriced. EVOMsit is a much better option. Tried and true as well.

Someone posted he was up to 580 horsepower after a tune, so the power kit might not only cost way more, but provide less of a bump. At least there would be no warranty issue with the power kit.

Maybe the two could be combined, though, for 600+?

The power kit is more than just a tune. It also includes a titanium-aluminum turbines for reduced turbo lag.

Still not worth the $$$$. Lag is not THAT much of an issue...

I too am somewhat worried about warranty issues with EVOMsit, however, reportedly is invisible to dealer/factory once unplugged.
