2008-Can you turn off TPMS?

2008-Can you turn off TPMS?
I have a new set of rims that don't have the sensors. Can i somehow turn off the TPMS to avoid errors? I know you can do this with 911s. My indie dealer has an autologic system so I think he could do it if I gave him directions.
