Voice control for PCM

Hello Everyone..
Is the voice control for PCM a nice option to have? Is it necessary? Is it convenient and easy to use? Any bad experience or negative comments?

Didn't opt for it, not bc of cost, but found it not as easy to use as others. Meaning, it dint recognize words as easy as other systems.
Sure it's a nice option to have but just didn't want the hassle.

I need the Voice control option.
I take between 100-160 phone calls on a busy day.
I agree w Jace, sometimes the word recognition is spotty, but I still like it
I have only had it a month so I am still learning the ins and outs.
all in all, I recommend everyone get it so Porsche puts more into development in the future.
I used to have the old Porsche Nav.. and the new is much better

Our SA, five years with Porsche and quite capable, could not get Voice to work properly. Also, our local Costco, opened five years ago, not in the system.

I have it in my GTS, but have not had any issues with it recognizing my voice commands. It works really good, but I don't think I would pay extra for it.

The voice control for dialing names or phone numbers is amazing and the call quality over bluetooth blows away my previous BMW's. I do not use it for anything else like navigation because it is esier to use the touchscreen for all inputs.
