Proper way to store wheels and tires

Getting new shoes for the Cayenne and need to store away the OEM for winter.
what is the proper way to keep them. Stack them up, or do i need to get some sort of tire keeper - i don't want them to go flat etc.

advise please.

stack them up, on their sides, and place each of them in it's own plastic bag.
