1stVR6 is infamous around these parts
Hi

I'm in the process of buying a used Cayenne. My target vehicle is a 2008 S. My question is will the 2008 have the upgraded coolant pipes already? I am also wondering if there was a way to check for the new coolant pipes physically on the vehicle or is this only possible with maintenance records?

Thanks!

The '08 models don't have the same plastic pipes.. they have ones of a different design, that so far haven't started failing, and so far Porsche hasn't superceded them with aluminum replacements.

That's good to know... Thanks for the info. So in case I do end up looking at prior to 2008, is there a way to check for the hose physically on the vehicle?

Thanks
