which lowering module - Tracer, H%R ETS, Evolution or Techart?

Which lowering module are the best?

The marketing material makes distinction between the various brands difficult.

I just wen online shopping and found:
Tracer - $960
H&R - $1,250
Evolution - $2,351
I think I remember TEchart and Gemballa for mid 2k too.

Which one is the most popular? Feature differences?

Thanks in advance,

Anders

I chose the Techart module since it was a module replacement and not splice in like all the others. It does require the Dealer to calibrate it, but that was included in my alignment, not sure other dealers will do that though.

I love that it lowers to load-level when you arm the alarm/exit.

Ride is great, very firm although I still use the low lever and sport mode all the time.

Sharkwerks gave me a great deal on the module.

I know your post is for lowering module but just thought I post another option.

I did lowering links, and Greenmotorsport module. Which basically locks the suspension in whatever high you have it at. I set the lowering links to my ride height that I would like all the time, then switch it to whatever height I like. I wasn't worried about any other height but my lowered ride height. So the links work perfect. If I want to ride with it higher and at speed I just lock it at that height with the module. If I want to drive in load level, I'll just lock it at that height. I rarely ever lock the heights, it rides perfect at normal height, sporty at low height (even in comfort), and if I lock it in load level, it rides like a tuna boat. I always drive in normal mod, then it lowers to low level at highways speed and I'll switch it to load level when parked.

You don't have to use lowering links with the Greenmotorsport module. On/off switch piece that installs in the air filler (passenger seat) Just that the lowest you can go is load level and you would have to lock it in load level to ride at that height. This wasn't low enough for me.

I'm sure the modules are awesome too use but again, my main concern was lowered at normal ride setting.

I made the same choice for the same reasons and I 'm glad I did.
I love my Techart module. The guys at CEC did a great job installing the module and realigning my CTT.

Is it safe to lock it into the Loading Level and drive around at that height? Has anyone tried this?

Yes works perfectly fine. But you do get this message in the cluster anytime you lock the suspension. At first I wasn't really feeling it, but with the lowering links I have everything exactly the way I want it. Locking the suspension is for rare occasions that I want to stay at the height I switch it to and do not want it to change, no matter what my speed is.

Have you considered our electronic lowering control unit as well? We have installed probably 100's of these with no issues.

I'm wondering how this works with a 2008 turbo s as I understand that the turbo s is already running on slightly lower suspension settings than the standard turbo?

I'm not sure if the S is lower then the standard Turbo to be honest. Our module will basically lower the car versus whatever the current height is.

I have this installed, but the error message can be annoying, so I never use it. No need to anyway lateley. Lowering links and allow the PDCC to do the rest.

Not spamming, but my dad just put his Tech Art lowering module on Ebay....

I'm sure he'll make a deal for someone on 6speed. If I recall these are plug and play.

If only this was for a 957 I would jump on it. Won't work on my 2008 turbo.

Funny... He said he's gotten a few offers less than $1000... One guy offered $200.

Is seems like there aren't many available these days, so I'm sure someone who wants a real Tech Art product will come along eventually...

Plus the plug and play factor makes it the easiest mod you can ever do.
