Leaf delete modification for the CTT

I was doing a pretty thorough cleaning of my '04 CTT this weekend and decided to take the grills off that cover the two intercoolers. When I reached down in there, I found that the bottom two inches of the intercoolers were blocked by leaves, mini branches, and rocks!!! In front of the driver's side intercooler, there was even a dead bird!

If you still have the stock bumper and haven't reached in there recently, please do so. I'm sure cleaning that out has made somewhat of an impact on my intercooler efficiency. It's easy for junk to collect in there, since there is no opening for the junk to drop out.

Thumbs up

I did the same thing about 3 months ago, and was amazed how much junk was in there. I thought at the time ... wow it has to have some sort of effect on the efficiency of the intercooler.
