Post Removing Coin Drawer under AC?

A few coins got stuck in the back of the slide out drawer of my '04 CTT (with ash tray delete) and it renders the "push in" latch unusable. This is the drawer in front of the center console under the AC controls. I can wedge it open but I see no way to remove the drawer so I can get rid of the coins. I fished out a few of them, but cannot seem to remove the last two or three.

Anyone know how to get this drawer out? Thanks.

stuck tray

Carefully remove the silver trim around the radio unit, once removed you will see some spring clips on either side of the AC " head unit" you need to pry those towards the center of the vehicle to pop it out. Once the ac unit slides out you will see two screws to remove ashtray/ coin holder assembly. Hardest part is getting ac clips out. Hope this helps

An easy way to do this (I found) was to push a small pry tool in to one of the clips, then a second into the other... and simultaneously push both in. If you have a spare set of hands, may be much easier to do this. But some of the earlier Cayennes the ashtray may be stuck in there pretty well.
