$250 horn FYI

Just had the 40k service and was told the left horm was bad. Not thinking it would be too expensive, I said okay. The bill was a grand, with the horn at $250 bucks. $49 for the horn and $200 to remove the front bumper. Wish I knew the details, I would have changed the gold emblem to silver!

Save your receipt. If you had the work done at the dealer, you should get a 2 year warranty on the horn repair. It will fail again.

just replaced one on mine, fortunately under warranty

previous owner removed the red rubber on the panic button on both key fobs because one of them always trip the alarm when it is moved within the range, local dealer fixed the sensor in the Cayenne (receiver) and replaced both keys...

all of the above close to $1k charged to warranty .... local dealer taking excellent care of my Cayenne, superb service even though they know I bought the vehicle from the US and is taking it to an indy shop for oil changes..

I had some minor bodywork done on my '06 CTT and while the front end was apart I had both horns changed { the low tone wasn't working } 2 months later guess what, the low tone wasn't working.
