swaify96 is infamous around these parts
I have a question

Is the cayenne 2012 any different from the 2011
they say it will shrink in size, receiving a much smaller body all around, while the roofline will be lower, windshield more streamlined and the D-pillar will have an increased slope. Compared to the 2011, version, this one will not be so well suited for off-road driving

I have a question for you: Who is "they?"

The 2012 is the same as the 2011. Are you sure you aren't thinking of the 2010 vs. 2011? Even then, even though the new Cayenne looks smaller, it is in fact larger. There is also less emphasis on the off road capabilities of the 2011+ model.
