Magnum hood recommendation
guys....

bodyshops here are killers, they charge so much money to get stuff done. I am ordering the CF magnum hood for my car, should I get it painted in LA? I am afraid with color matching... please share your thoughts....

Have it done here in boston its less of a hassle. I know of a place that has porsche colors, thats where it did my hood and front valence

I hear where you are coming from with regards to the body shops. The only issue I would have in having it painted out in LA would be if the paint matches correctly. The bodyshop you went to knows the exact color combo they used for your other pieces and would use the same on the hood. Ultimately the decision is up to you. With your color, I don't think the shade of the color is apparent as it is in metallic and off tone colors.

I think the hood is crazy price.
almost 3.5k for a hood not even painted? wow! that is major $$$
