TechArt Lowering Module Installation Procedure?

I just got my TechArt lowering module... I assumed it would be a plug-in affair. But the installation instructions say that you need to calibrate it with a device that the dealer would have.

Anyone install this lowering module on their own or am I going to have to have a dealer do it?

I just installed the physical device, then drove with the error to the dealer and they calibrated it and did an alignment. They charged me an hour + the alignment. The alignment took over 4 hours (per porsche spec) due to the air suspension, so they gave me a loaner and sent me on my way. However the alignment is a set price and not to bad. The total was less then $300

Well, I had them follow the directions so about 1" lower on a GTS. However they offered to alter the measurements and lower it further maybe .5 to 1" more but I did not want to risk that.

I love the upgrade rides firm, and handles better.

I would contact Tech-Art and ask them for a list of authorized installers in your area
