Considering used Cayenne, no local dealerships?
Considering used Cayenne, no local dealerships?
I am considering the purchase of a new car (well at least new to me), and I have seen some attractive prices on 4-7 year old low mileage Cayenne's (most likely an S or Turbo). My main concern is lack of local dealer support as the nearest dealership is about 150 miles away (in almost any direction), nearest shop with a good reputation that specializes in European cars (mostly VW, and other German cars) is 50 miles away. Given this information would you advise against the purchase of a Cayenne as a possible daily driver?
thanks

I would still consider a Cayenne. If you keep up with the recommended maintenance and address the known common issues, then the Cayenne is a very reliable vehicle. Most of my trips to the dealer/mechanic are planned, and this is really only about twice per year.
i have 102k on the ticker and dd my cayenne, its solid as a rock and fun,
just keep up the usual maintience and you should be golden.
its far from an american lowest cost provider, planned obsolesence hunk of junk.
