howdy guys - happy new year to all!

relatively new cayenne owner here - picked up my '06 a while back and ran into the dreaded cardan shaft problem. thanks to the info i learned here, i was able to get it repaired very quickly with no surprises in terms of parts and labor AND have it covered by the dealer's warranty (mine's not a CPO but she was so clean and priced so well, i just had to pull the trigger) due to the seemingly expected failure. so thanks for all the info!

that said; mine has some aftermarket pioneer head unit (not sure the exact model, but from what research i've done it seems it was the standard PCM replacement) and i have to say; i'm not crazy about it. i'm an interactive developer (basically, a computer programmer that builds interfaces), so i'm a bit of a snob when it comes to such as that.

being new to this whole p car world; i'm wondering if there're any better head units out there to consider? i suppose i could look into myself more; but i figured you guys are such a great resource for info, i'd just ask. and if this has come up before - which i'm sure it has - please direct me to the particular thread.
