So, my cruise control doesn't work, and from reading I've been doing, I've figured out the brake switch may be the problem. I've also read that the part is like 10 bucks, but I can't see it when I get in the cabin and look for it by the brake pedal. Anyone ever done this repair? I hate to take it to the shop if this is all it is!

 

The parking brake strut is about $32.50 and not covered under CPO. I replaced mine but it never interferred with cruise control.
